Bronte, the AI receptionist for
plumbers and air-con businesses
Bronte answers the calls you can't, takes the job details properly and texts them to you straight away, so the customer doesn't ring the next business on the list.
Bronte answers as Demo Plumbing. The call is recorded and the details you give go to Oscar Spary.

Water coming through the kitchen ceiling.
Blocked toilet, only one in the house.
Hot water's been lukewarm since yesterday.
Split system blowing warm air.
Leaking tap in Penrith.
Your job card, while they're still on the line.
Name, number, address, the job and when suits them. Urgent jobs say URGENT at the top.
Text to you
URGENT Smith Plumbing job: Water leaking through the kitchen ceiling. Marrickville, 24 Wattle Lane. Sam 0491 570 156. Preferred time: this afternoon. Ref R-7K3Q.
Your customer hears back straight away.
A text with a reference number, so they know the job is with you and don't ring around.
Text to your customer
Smith Plumbing: Thanks Sam, we've got your details (R-7K3Q). Dave will call you back. Ph 02 5550 1234.
You can't answer the phone with your hands in a drain. Now you don't have to: Bronte picks up in about a second, takes the job properly and texts it to you before the customer rings someone else.
A receptionist for the calls you can't take
It works like a good receptionist: one question at a time, checks the details back, and gets the job to you before the customer moves on.
Reception
Answers as your business
Your business name and your name in the greeting. Bronte says up front: "I'm Bronte, Dave's AI assistant", and that the call is recorded, then takes their name, number, address and the job.
Ring the demo ›BronteHi, you've reached Smith Plumbing. Dave can't get to the phone right now, so I'm Bronte, Dave's AI assistant…
CallerWater's coming through my kitchen ceiling.
BronteSorry to hear that. Can I get your name, please?
CallerSam. It's 0491 570 156.
BronteJust to confirm, that's zero four nine one - five seven zero - one five six. Is that right?
Job cards
The job, straight to your phone
A job card by text while the call is still going, and a text to your customer with a reference number. It reads the number back and checks the address, so you're not chasing details.
See the texts ›Your area, your hours
Knows your suburbs and your hours
It listens for the suburbs you service and flags jobs outside them on the job card, without turning anyone away. You choose when it answers: after hours, when you're busy, or whenever you don't pick up.
See plans ›Careful by design
What it won't do
It takes the details so you can call back. It never pretends to be a person, and anyone in danger is told to ring triple zero.
Read the FAQ ›Built for plumbers and air-con
It knows the jobs your customers ring about, and that water through the ceiling means urgent.
Plumbers
Burst pipes, blocked drains, hot water, leaks and gas. Urgent jobs are flagged so you see them first.
Air-con
No cooling on a hot day, service calls and new installs, taken down properly while you're on another job.

About me
Hi, I'm Oscar
Founder & CEO, HeyBronte
I built Bronte here in Sydney for plumbers and air-con businesses who can't get to the phone while they're on the tools.
I'm studying economics and finance at the University of Sydney. Before Bronte, I built the AI operating system that runs Cherry Brothers (cherrybrothers.nz), plus their AI system for finding and winning corporate clients.
I set up every line myself, test it with you, and I'm the person you ring if anything needs changing. No call centre and no ticket queue: just me.
I'll be there every step of the way
We talk
I ring you to learn how your business takes calls: the suburbs you service, your hours and who should get the job cards.
I set it up
Your own line with your business name, your greeting and your suburbs. We ring it together, and I walk you through the call forwarding.
14 days free
The full AI receptionist: job cards, customer texts, suburb matching, urgent flags and address checks. Ring me any time and I'll adjust it.
Then, your extras
Keeping it? Tell me what else would save you time. If I can build it, I will, and you agree the price before any work starts.

Frequently asked questions
Who's behind it?
Oscar Spary, in Sydney. Oscar built Bronte and sets up every line personally, so when you ring Oscar you're talking to a person, not the AI.
Will callers know it's an AI?
Yes. Every call starts with "I'm Bronte, your AI assistant" and that the call is recorded, before the caller says anything.
Do I keep my number?
Yes. Your mobile forwards the calls you miss to your own AI line. Turn the forwarding off and everything goes back to normal.
Who sets it up, and how long does it take?
Oscar does, personally: a quick call to learn how you work, then Oscar sets up your line, tests it with you and walks you through the call forwarding. Your AI line's number has to be registered to your business first, which usually takes two to five business days.
What happens with urgent jobs?
The job card is marked URGENT so you see it straight away. If someone is in danger, it tells them to hang up and ring triple zero.
Can it do something specific to my business?
Often, yes. Start with the 14-day free trial of the AI receptionist. Once you've seen it working, talk it through with Oscar: if it can be built, you agree the price before any work starts.
Can it book jobs or give quotes?
Not out of the box: it takes the details and you call back to quote and book. If you'd like it to do more, talk to Oscar after your trial.
What does the trial cost?
Nothing. You get 14 days free with no setup fee, and nothing is charged unless you decide to keep it.
What happens to the callers' details?
They're kept for 30 days and call recordings for 7, then deleted. See the privacy policy.
Ready to stop losing jobs to voicemail?
Ring the demo line and pretend you're a customer with a leaking tap. Then ring Oscar to set it up on your own number.
